An air-drying ground that imparts an intense golden-yellow colour. It enhances the wood grain from within, providing luminosity and depth.

Doratura Liquida provides a beautiful golden effect of depth and luminosity from within the wood, varying with incident light. It is suitable for oil or alcohol varnishing.

Before use, it is recommended to test on pieces or parts of wood like those of the instrument to be treated to predict the colour tone that can be achieved in each case.

If the varnishing process is alcohol based, once it has dried completely, it is recommended to apply a base for this specific alcohol varnishing, such us our Base Chiara Liquida (coming soon).

If the varnishing process is oil based, once it has dried completely, it is recommended to apply one or two coats of Refractive Ground or diluted clear varnish to promote penetration. Sand before varnishing.
